By the book!

Met up with Miss Pink with Purple for the Japanese cooking class and she passed me these 2 cookbooks as my birthday present. Can’t wait to try them out! I’m not sure if I can manage the nonya favourites but inside the ‘taiwanese favorites’, there was ‘rice topped with braised minced pork’ or ‘lu rou fan’! I’m definitely going to try out that recipe.

    The Babi Ponteh recipe in the Nonya Cookbook is quite easy to handle. I made that a couple of times and it turned out well. You will love it. Goes so well with white rice !
