The bird cage ring holder
To hold our rings for the solemnisation ceremony, I borrowed a bird cage from a friend (thanks Miss A!) who happened to own one. I passed it to Miss E to “jazz” it up for the day and voila!
It’s amazing what some ribbons and fresh flowers can do eh?
If you look very carefully, the rings were tied on a purple ribbon and were hanging down from the top-centre of the cage.
So pretty. I like.
A funny moment did occur though. When it was time to exchange rings, our JP couldn’t get the rings out! Wahahahaha. He had to actually ask for help. Tee hee hee. Actually, the rings are tied in such a way that all you needed to do is to pull them and it’d be released. I guess we forgot to brief Mr JP!
Nonetheless, all ended well and we got the ring on our fingers. Lalala.

That is a really cute idea! One of my closest friends just got engaged and I want to help her find some great creative ideas to make her day one that everyone will remember. I’ve already looked into some Chicago Wedding Bands that she might like to play at her wedding. There was one group, Bradley Young Entertainment, that I thought was perfect because they offer different types of wedding music depending on the style you are looking for. If she doesn’t like them, then one day I’ll use for when my wedding day comes! =) Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make some parts of the wedding creative and cute like the example in this post?
