Prep me beautiful
Last night, the boy and I had this conversation:
Boy: Are you free this Saturday?
Me: Why leh? I’m going for my last facial before the wedding.
Ohhhh. I wanted to treat you to a spa treatment lor.
My ears pricked alert immediately. A spa treatment? For ME?!?!?! I lurve massages, by the way. I’m not a huge fan of sitting in hot bubbling water or getting steamed in a room where I can barely breathe but I lurrrrve massages. The longer, the better.
“Wah! Why do you want to treat me leh?” I asked.
All brides go for spa mah. And all brides need to look relaxed and 美美. If you don’t go for massage, how to look good for wedding day?
Altogether now: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. So sweet can? My heart warmed at his thoughtfulness.
Before he can change his mind, I quickly went online to do some quick research. I didn’t want to travel too far (no Sentosa or Orchard please) so after some research, I decided to head to Aramsa Spas @ Bishan Park.
It’d be my second to the spa because my first visit there was also a treat from the boy
But this was a long time ago, when they first opened.
I looked at their Signature Garden Packages and decided to book their “Botanical Energy” package:
I’d be getting the works – 30 mins of exfoliation, 60 mins of massage, 30 mins of mud therapy. I think the mud therapy’s for “detoxification of the body” or something. I just keep having visions of myself covered in brown mud. Not a very good look. Hmm. But oooh, the Shiatsu massage! the scalp massage!
Can hardly wait. Woohoo!

Hi there, i came across your blog while searching for gossip on Michelle Chia’s gown, and was interested in reading about your wedding prep. I got married just 6 months ago, so everything is still very fresh in my head. Congratulations on coming to a significant point in your life, and remember to enjoy the day. Despite the difficulties of managing parents, frustrations of wedding details, everything will come together well, Even if there are glitches, you’ll look back on this day fondly. It is a special day, but more importantly, the start of a lifetime together. I wish you many years of loving happiness with your hubby.
