Final fitting
Yesterday evening, the boy and I were at Bridal Veil for our very last fitting before the wedding day. It’s been a while since I last saw my wedding gown and after I put it on, I fell in love all over again. It’s soooo gorgeous lah. It also seemed a tad tighter than before (OH NO!!) but I was just being paranoid. It was just very fitting. Heh.
I also wore my wedding shoes together with the gown so that the length can be adjusted (previously, the gown’s length was left longer for the photoshoot). It matched PERFECTLY. I couldn’t stop beaming.
The only adjustments I had to do were for the length of both gowns so I was done pretty quickly. Next up was the boy who had to try on his trousers and the jacket. When he emerged from the dressing room, I was wondering why his trousers looked loose. Cedric later confirmed that he’s lost about 1-inch so they need to take in the trousers. Ooooh, sure looks like all that exercising worked!
His suit jacket also had to be taken in for a more fitted look.
Cedric then sat down with us to decide on the hand bouquet colour, etc. I picked out a couple (in pink and purple, of course) and left it up to him to design something nice. We also settled our final payment (gulp!) and lastly, arranged the timing for all the stuff to be picked up a day before the wedding.
The countdown begins…
